9.00 a.m. - Start in Munich, or location of your choice
In your hotel within a 10 km radius of Munich city centre
Your private chauffeur will be waiting for you at the entrance or reception of your hotel. Look for a black business van with your name on it. Please be ready 5–10 minutes before departure. If your hotel is more than 10 km from Munich city center, an additional pick-up fee may apply. Please inform us in advance so we can arrange the pickup accordingly.
10.30 a.m. Arrival at Weltenburg Monastery
Upon arrival at Weltenburg Abbey, your chauffeur will take you to the monastery entrance. From here, you'll have the opportunity to explore the historic Benedictine abbey, founded in 620 AD. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere while strolling through the grounds and be sure to visit the famous Baroque church, designed by the renowned Asam brothers. The tranquil riverside location offers the perfect opportunity to relax and enjoy the natural beauty surrounding the monastery.
Your chauffeur will be on hand to provide you with advice and assistance and will ensure that you have everything you need for your visit.
12.00 Lunch at Weltenburg Monastery
Enjoy a leisurely lunch in the historic beer garden of Weltenburg Monastery, known for its traditional Bavarian cuisine and the world-famous dark beer brewed by the monks. Choose from a variety of hearty dishes such as pretzels, sausages, roast pork, and other regional specialties, served with a refreshing glass of the monastery's own beer. Depending on the weather, you can sit in the shady outdoor area under the beautiful trees or in the cozy, rustic dining room.
2.30 p.m. Visit to the Kehlheim Liberation Hall
If time allows, we'll surprise you with a visit to the Kellheim Liberation Hall. Admission is included.
4:00 PM Departure from the Befreiungshalle Kehlheim and return to Munich
We will take you back to your hotel or the starting point of the tour in a relaxed and calm manner.
